Through experience gained in over 30 years in South Africa, the managing members of Greenbro - a BEE company - have gained an excellent understanding of the current market and its needs. This, coupled with extensive research done in other developing countries, inspired Greenbro to design and manufacture polyethylene electrical enclosures - stronger, safer, recyclable and cost-effective. We understand that vision alone is not enough - it must be combined with venture, which is why we commenced production shortly after the company’s inception in 2002.
We have committed ourselves to educating the industry as to the numerous advantages of using polyethylene as a material in manufacturing electrical enclosures in Africa. Factors such as expertise in the area of design, supported by our team of dedicated individuals who are thoroughly professional in their various fields, only serves to strengthen our position within the marketplace. Not only have we pioneered and perfected this unique product, we are currently also the only manufacturers in Africa.
Being in the industry of electricity distribution, Greenbro saw a gap in the market in the design, manufacture, assembly and maintenance of generator sets. A separate factory has been established for carrying out these functions in-house, thereby providing a total solution for our clients. We are currently the leading generator specialists in the Western Cape.
We have been allocated a Mechanical CIDB Rating of 5 ME PE and are in a position to quote on all steel and structural work.
